The Excel V system uses two complementary wavelengths:

532nm KTP — Targets superficial vascular and pigmented lesions including rosacea, facial redness, sun spots, and freckles. Highly absorbed by hemoglobin and melanin at shallow depths.

1064nm Nd:YAG — Penetrates deeper for treatment of leg veins, periorbital veins, deeper pigmentation, and venous malformations.

Adjustable parameters include spot sizes from 2–12mm, pulse widths from 1.5–60ms, and fluence up to 300 J/cm². Sapphire tip cooling ensures patient comfort throughout treatment.
Precautions & Aftercare
Avoid sun exposure for 2–4 weeks before and after treatment. Treated areas may show temporary redness or mild darkening of pigmented spots. Do not pick at any crusting that develops. Apply SPF 50+ sunscreen daily. Avoid hot baths, saunas, and intense exercise for 24–48 hours post-treatment.
