How It Works
Sculptra contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) microparticles that are injected into the deep dermis. Over weeks, these particles stimulate fibroblasts to produce new collagen fibers. The PLLA is gradually absorbed while the new collagen structure remains, providing volume and firmness that lasts.
