How It Works
The Reepot laser from CLASSYS emits Q-switched pulses at 532 nm, a wavelength strongly absorbed by melanin in the epidermis. Contact cooling protects the skin surface during delivery, and the VSLS (Very Short Laser Stacking) technique stacks very short pulses on the lesion so pigment is cleared with less heat spread into surrounding tissue. Because 532 nm is absorbed superficially, treatment is directed at epidermal lesions such as solar lentigines and age spots rather than at deeper dermal pigment.
