Lumenis (Israel) — CO2 Fractional Laser
UltraPulse Alpha delivers precisely controlled, high-energy CO2 laser pulses to selectively remove damaged surface tissue and create microscopic treatment zones. From a pigmentation-treatment perspective, it may be used for selected age-related pigmented and benign epidermal lesions, including solar lentigines, seborrheic keratoses, and skin tags, while also improving uneven skin texture, fine lines, wrinkles, and photoaged skin through collagen remodeling.
At NEWVE CLINIC in Gangnam, Seoul, Dr. Hyunhwa Kim applies her extensive clinical experience and skilled laser technique to carefully adjust the treatment depth, energy, density, and coverage according to the type, depth, and distribution of each lesion. Because not every pigmentation concern is suitable for CO2 laser treatment, an in-person medical assessment is performed to determine whether UltraPulse Alpha or another pigment laser is the most appropriate option.

The Alpha Air Brush handpiece enables ultra-fine superficial resurfacing. Treatment parameters are customized based on scar type, skin condition, and target depth.
Precautions & Aftercare
Avoid direct sun exposure for 4–6 weeks post-treatment and apply broad-spectrum SPF 50+ daily. Redness and mild swelling are expected for 5–7 days. Crusting may occur with deeper treatments and should not be picked. Use prescribed healing ointments as directed. Avoid active skincare ingredients (retinol, AHA/BHA, vitamin C) for 2 weeks. Follow-up appointments are scheduled to monitor healing progress.
